Christmas time is here!

Christmas has always been a troublesome time for me. I know it is all about the birth of Jesus, but I can't get past the fact that we have made the celebration more about presents and parties than the birth of our savior. For all of you that think like me I would like to share something a friend told me last week. they reminded me that not only is Christmas a holiday that we have turned into a commercial event but it provides many opportunities to share the love of Jesus. No other time of year is the name of Jesus more spoken. Even if most of the world speaks it in vain, we have the chance to shout it from the rooftops! Be encouraged fellow Christians! God still wins the battle. go tell someone!

A comment about the movie Nativity

My daughter and I went to the movie Nativity last Friday and it was amazing to me that we were 2 of 6 people in the theater. I live in the Salt Lake area and I thought that more LDS people would be interested in the Nativity. I am not LDS. I am a Christian. I was particularly moved by the amazing faith that Joseph had. Being a husband and a father I can see that he probably went through some very tough times trusting Mary and the Lord. Wow!!!

All Things Faircloth

Welcome to my blog... I am just checking this out so be patient with me. I may be inconsistent with my post, but I will try to maintain some consistancy. Please try to keep the language and subject matter clean. I will be including my daughter with this blog. Thanks.
